The Guardianship of Nature Protection and Animal Rights Association was registered in July 2015. We focus our activities mainly on the territory of the Dąbrówno Commune, but if necessary, we move beyond its borders. We operate in many ways: we conduct education on the humane treatment of animals among children and adolescents in schools and villages, we write projects to obtain funds for actions, we appear in court as an aggrieved person on behalf of abused animals, organize free mobile sterilization campaigns, we travel with animals in need to veterinary offices , we carry out checks on the living conditions of animals, we take care of homeless animals staying in a place of temporary stay created by the Dąbrówno commune.

Our organization was founded to defend animals. Still often in Poland, persuading people to take proper care of an animal they own, to refrain from bullying it is an ant, Sisyphean and ungrateful job. Often the effects of the efforts are disproportionately small in relation to the effort put into improving the fate of the abused animals. They are rarely spectacular successes, and most often microscopic steps on the way to improving their living conditions. In the realities of today's Poland and its lame legislation on animal rights, every extended chain, every bowl full of water, or the patched roof of the kennel is happy ... That is why we control the living conditions of animals. Since our inception, we have conducted over 150 such inspections. We react to people's reports, but we also go from house to house to check if the animals are not being harmed.

In 2018, we initiated a campaign of free, mobile sterilization of farm animals in Warmia and Mazury. During three actions in our commune 253 animals - dogs and cats were sterilized. We managed to convince the authorities of the neighboring communes: Kozłów, Rybno and Lidzbark Welski to take the action of mobile sterilization, who carried out such actions in their area. In total, thanks to this, a total of 423 animals were sterilized in our immediate vicinity. All dogs that were treated were also microchipped and entered into the database of tagged animals.

We have obtained grants from the FIO twice and several times from the budget of the Dąbrówno commune for our activities.
Since 2018, we are a public benefit organization and you can donate 1% to us when paying tax.

Thanks to the actions taken, we saved several hundred dogs and cats from homelessness. They were adopted and found the warmth of their home. In 2016, we found houses for 12 dogs, in 2017 for 22 dogs, in 2018 for 18 dogs and 11 cats, in 2019 for - 97 dogs and cats.

Like most organizations that work for animals and nature, we also struggle with financial problems. In order to effectively help and save animals, we need professional equipment such as: grippers, applicators, stretchers for injured animals, cages, lifeboats, leashes, bowls, etc., as well as funds for the treatment of animals injured in accidents or harmed by human irresponsibility.

Our actions are guided by the motto:
"You never rise as high as when you bend down to help the needy."

If someone would like to help us in saving those who are unable to ask for help themselves, we can provide any amount for our activities, we provide the account number:

Bank Pekao SA II Branch in Ostróda: 03124025551111001073779448
in the case of transfers from abroad, the following must be added before the account number:
IBAN PL 03124025551111001073779448
SWIFT PKO PPLPW
PayPAI: PKO PPLPW

Every zloty that can save a pet counts.

And if someone would like to give us some items such as: bowls, leashes, muzzles and even boards for kennels, even if used, we will be extremely grateful.
